I thought prerunners were 4wd since they didn't go the speeds full on race trucks did, but we're more for learning the course. Since they aren't always hightailing it they run the risk of getting stuck more so weight of 4wd is justified. That being said I had dreams of a permanent awd, 4 wheel independant suspension truck with beefy differentials.
