>IMHO, having to stay longer at a Supercharger is a perfect excuse to arrive late for work, if the boss will accept it.

Are these niggas srs my nigga
>>
>As Tesla popularity increases, do you think it's reasonable to start charging a fee as demand exceeds supply at some locations?
I don't think these people are aware of the mechanics of a market economy. When you decrease the attractiveness of your product you stump growth of your company, especially when your product is meant to be an alternative, not a staple.
>>

if you read through that post, they all seem to pretty delusional how the world is put together
>>
>>14127465
You just need to look at the level of income required to purchase and maintain ownership of a Tesla. The vast majority of these people are unaware, or even ignorant of how the world works.
>>
Electric cars will be a niche market until we have a battery tech breakthrough. It is that clean cut and dry. Shit posting about them is silly, once that breakthrough happens they will be main stream.

I'm looking at plugin hybrids right now since i'm 100% solar for power and drive about 70 miles round trip for work, if I can get an electric car that can do that I could commute for energy costs.

I know a Tesla can do that east but they are 100k and i'd want it to be a hybrid so I can use for for longer trips without worry
>>
>>14127469
If they're ignorant of how the world works, how did they become wealthy enough to own a Tesla?

>Upper middle class childhood
>Academically skilled
>Good education
>Good degree
>Good job
>Only issues in life are related to the work environment, getting kids into a good school to maintain the upper middle class cycle and where to charge their Tesla.
>>
>>14127469
>maintain ownership
wat? arent they extremly cheap to own once you have actually made the purchase?
>>
>>14127515
>the middle class will die in our lifetime
>>
Teslafags can now wank each other around charger stations just like swagfags/ricers do at parking lots.
>>
>>14127528
in the US, yeah.
>>
>waiting in queue with 14 other trucks to gas up at the only gas station that was open on Xmas eve

Also bretty gud
>>
>>14127475
Man, I hear this insipid argument every single time. Most electric cars already have a long range, 100-300. No one goes on spontaneous road trips, and that range is far more than enough for 99% of driving.
>>
>>14127521
I'd bet you get raped when something breaks. And it's full of electrics and comfort shit, soo...I wouldn't know, of course.
>>
>>14127754
You seem to be confused over the piles of sensors the overcomplicated ICEs have to ensure they don't destroy themselves and the world.
>>
>>14127751
>No one goes on spontaneous road trips

Yes actually, people do. I drove from Raleigh NC to Nashville TN literally on a whim two weekends ago. No, I would not have considered doing that in a Tesla Model S, considering there are no charging stations down that 500mi stretch of I40.

yup, central east coast here.. never seen a carging station before, didnt even know they were actually a thing yet.
