these are what i was deciding between when a pristine 2008 evo mr with lots of mods fell into my lap for an absolute steal so i had to get that instead

but my other choices would have been equally fun i put a lot of research and consideration for insurance costs as well as monthly payments through a 2 year loan

i also had to factor in that i live in a pothole filled city

I had this same dilemma. I even made the mistake of getting an FRS. I'd say best options are used. I ended up getting a '12 135i. Maybe a used Cayman? Or S2000?

The fiata looks better. The T-jet engines might not be on par with the Mazda's, but they've got huge cam thanks to the whole Multi-Air shebang. Anyway, once the 1.8 T-Jet Abarth hits, it'll outperform the Miata. If it weren't for the 4c's weak DCT, Novitect would have that 1.8 pushing 350+hp already.
