What cars do you recommend for a tall person (6'4")? Most cars are built for 5'10" manlets.

I'm trying to avoid an SUV.

6'3" here, Mustangs work great, very comfortable car for me. Camaro's a little less so, if you're looking for a shitbox, my old pontiac grand am was extremely comfy, despite it blowing up every other week. That's just cars i have experience with... previously owned a 07 mustang and now own a 15.

It's all about proportions m8

I'm 6'2", about 180lbs and I can barely fit in a lot of Japanese cars, always seems to be my legs that are too long so I have to put the seat as far back as possible. But then having to reach for the steering wheel is uncomfortable.
>>
>>14119012
width wise i'm ok in most cars

the problem tends to be headroom. I guess I have a longer torso than most, so my head is usually less than an inch from the roof. It makes going over unexpected bumps hell

They're actually pretty small inside. They feel big inside mostly because lack of Center console or its really tiny. Dashes are also thinner since no billion buttons or screens and give more knew room. Still the rest of the dimensions are smaller and most likely doesn't have adjustable steering columns or pedals. A Dodge Charger was considered a mid size back then and they are 17ft long.

>>
>>14118800
I'm 6'3 and love driving trucks because of the headroom and side to side room. Smaller vehicles I'm always brushing elbows against my passengers in small cars and it sucks. Funny enough a miata with the top down has a crazy amount of legroom but I'm claustrophobic with the top up. Bigger American sedans are normally spacious for headroom though I find if something like a Mazda 3 has sedan and hatch options the hatch will be more spacious. Motorcycles are also a great option but once again not everyone can drive one year round.
I'd stick to American made if you're in North America and if not then I don't have many ideas for you

Man Im like 6'2" and I drive a Miata. You can fit in anything if you try hard enough. Took out some foam and shit in my seat and it works just fine. Pretty much every single car with a back seat has more than enough room for anyone if you adjust it right.

>>
Alright nigger, Im 6'4" so I can shed some light on this.

Cars that wont give any problems (including knees hitting the steering wheel, because some asshole decided to put the seat on a pedestal for 5'1" asian women to fit) are:

German coupes (911, 3/4 series coupes(What i went with), Mercedes E class coupe, S-class coupe if you have money)
Xbox Hueg Suvs (Cadillac Escalades,Tahoes, Denalis)
My personal favorite, Mercedes G-class. This thing is a tank, will comfortably fit you and 4 other women, looks badass, and comes in a AMG variant. Problem is these things run 20k minimum for a 2002.

So basically you're limited to SUVs or coupes. Not mematas for you.

Pro tip 2: never buy a used BMW 7 series unless you enjoy giving your car lots of TLC, there's so much luxury shit built into 7s that half of it is broken at any one time.
A post facelift E39 is an excellent recommendation though and probably your best option IMO. Very roomy and if you find one with the sport package it'll have adjustable leg extensions too.

>>
6'6 400lbs here.
My biggest problems are visibility, headroom, and long legs.
As a general rule, forget anything newer than 99 because of restricted visibility due to slanted windscreens and small windows, huge door cards, consoles and dashboards.

My w124 is the most comfortable car I've driven.
The seat is low to the floor, and moves back far enough for my legs. The gas pedal is floor mounted. the dashboard, door trim and console are all small. All this means my knees wont hit the steering wheel.

My head does touch the headliner, but only slightly. And even then, visibility is about as good as it gets
>>
Actually wtf is this thread?
I'm 6'5" without shoes and I can fit comfortably in literally any car you find here in NA.

I daily drive fiero with a fucking hanging headliner now and I have no problems with headroom or legs, etc.

I think instead of throwing around the word manlet in this thread, we should be calling OP obese.

Gtfo don't blame height for restrictions cars.
I hate it when people are like "oh you want that car, how are you gonna fit in that? It looks so small and low?!"
I open the door and sit down like every other person.
>>
>>14118800
6'4" is not tall enough for you to have trouble fitting in a vast majority of cars, so you can stop bragging about your inherited traits and go buy pretty much any car you want.
>>
>>14133251
You sound like a fucking lank. Probably bent like a fucking hook too.
>>
Saab 95. I'm an even 6' and I can't reach the pedals with the seat all the way back. If you don't mind an older car, get a pre 2003 with leather seats, those things are so comfortable that I was half tempted to rip them out and turn them into office chairs when I junked mine.
>>
