>literally semi tires 40" plus

Why?
>>
because they have small dicks
>>
Fuck, how do you even use that bed? You'd need a forklift to lift shit into the bed. So this person essentially took all the truck out of a truck.
Holy shit.
>>
>microdick
>>
So people will think you're "badass" and have an enormous dick!
>>
looks not fun to drive at all
>>

Wrong. I had a K20 w/ 8" of lift and 35's. Towing a 26' enclosed trailer had no problems.
>>
>effectively eliminates towing due to high center of gravity

yeah.. nah..

lifted trucks tow same as any

Guys, just because they drive a huge truck doesn't mean the have a tiny penis. Don't be so narrow-minded.

They might also be insecure in their masculinity, or have issues related to their abusive/deadbeat parents, or they might have just grown up surrounded by aggressive hypertestosterone and that's all they know.

Because semi truck trailers are fucking tall and I don't want to slide under one and be crushed to death. pic related is a corvette, one of the lowest cars around but this also happens with non lifted trucks and suvs.

They're literally snails on the road, it's hard to fucking get under one unless you're retarded

Don't crash into semis then.

This. I saw this thread in the catalog and was like WTF? I guarantee that pickups center of gravity is lower than a semi tractor.
>>
>>14107459
Technically, needing a large drop on the tow hitch creates a moment on the original tow hitch. So unless you somehow reinforce the tow hitch to counteract the extra twisting that will happen under braking and acceleration, it won't carry as much weight behind it as without a lift/drop hitch.

NO idea if those hitches are rated with brodozers in mind, maybe they're meant to take that. But point is the actual maximum capacity will be lower.

Also larger tires with the same gear ratios means less torque to the pavement. Might have issues with heavy shit starting up hills.

Why do you need a car with over 180hp?
why do you need a car that can handle over 1g on a skid pad?
why do you need aftermarket rims?
Why do you need a spoiler?
Why do you need a louder exhaust?
Why do you need to wrap your car?
Why do you need stickers on you car?

Because you want it and you can. If it makes you happy and doesn't hurt anyone, then do it.

Also keep in mind that guy probably has more money in wheels then most people on here have in cars.

I get that they do it because they like the way it looks, but that still leaves pretty much zero practical use left, aside from regular driving which I'm sure the lift and tires make the handling/steering/ride comfort 2/10. But then again, most rice tends to do that.
>>
>>14107271
Because the majority of people who drive DRW, diesel, or even just >1/2 ton trucks don't have a practical use for them. They're just big, wasteful status symbols like any gas-guzzler. It's peacocking.

To that end, imagine the kind of women trucks like this attract.

>>14108408
... No, they don't. Where are you getting this from?

For a truck THAT lifted (hitch is probably what, 2 feet or more higher?) you'd need a 2ft drop insert at least, right? As opposed to about 1/2 a foot or less? Amerifags, ignore this next bit of jibberish as I use superior units of measurement.

Trucks decelerate at around 3m/s2. Max trailer weight without brakes is 1400kg here. That means there's a 2100Nm torque on the tow bar that would have been only closer to 500Nm.
>1150ftLbs EXTRA torque on the hitch.

Yes, I'm sure it says that exactly.

And that's just for a light trailer. If you consider a heavy trailer during acceleration (4600kg max trailer weight at around 2m/s2 if you hammer down uphill, for instance, or try to pull it through mud etc). That works out to closer to 3000ftLbs EXTRA. On those same few bolts that hold the hitch to the frame.

>tl;dr just fucking nope.

Ratings only apply when things are used as intended. Hitches are strong with push and pull forces. They're not insanely strong with up or down forces, which is essentially what the added torque creates.
