Prepare your anus. You'll want to replace the injection spider (it's a real thing) while your in there or you will be paying for labor again later.

Did your egr valve melt or did kekscool eat the coolant passage?

Ugh. That spider-style fuel injection (Marketed by Chevrolet as Central Port Injection (CPI)) is the biggest problem on those things. If you're replacing the intake manifold, replace that as well.
