Guys here drift <100hp ke70's although it takes about a million clutch kicks to keep it going. Ideally you want about 150-200hp depending on weight etc. Then it's just a set of coilovers and some form of locking diff (factory lsd's on jap cars suck) by either shimming a single pegger diff or just welding it. Or you spend a bit more and get a decent 1.5 way/2 way lsd.

I think this has about 130, has a Spartan lunchbox locker in the diff and 195/65/15s. Will slide but the locker either introduces tons of oversteer or tons of understeer when you hit the throttle.

About 2k-2500 all in including a lot of maintenance parts.

I've done it with a 1300 in a Beetle so 50hp is sufficient. Done it with a shifter kart which I think was about 35hp. I'm not sure as it wasn't mine. It doesn't take much honestly.

I can drift my 115hp ford ranger when its raining or even slightly damp bit harder in the dry. Doesn't have a lsd so really have to have some good weight transfers. with lift off throttle / left foot braking
