/o/ I'm needing a replacement vehicle that I can use for work, but I also want to enjoy driving it.
So far, I can't find anything RWD that's enticing and Imprezas are too small for my job; I think I'm gonna go for a 2003-2007 Honda Accord EX V6 manual sedan.
My financing budget is under $10,000.
Car has to be Japanese and a 4-door sedan as big as an Accord (i.e. Camry) or bigger.
I live in Georgia.
Any ideas?

I'm trying not to go for a crossover.
>enjoyable to drive
>RWD
>as big as an Accord
>under $10000
>Japanese
>4-door sedan
>in the US
literally impossible. If you can ditch the Japanese requirement, get a BMW 5-series.
>>14051923
Too poor to own a BMW.
Only making $30k.
>>14051934
I've seen Turks on welfare (8400€) drive BMW's.
Just get an older one for like $5k, then you have another 5k for repairs and maintenance, before it bites into your actual maintenance budget.
>>14051923
lexus
>lexus
>>14051879
Lancer Evolution
>>14051968
I only have $1,500 for the down payment.
>>14051976
Do I really want an SC300/400?
>2-door
>>14051984
Too small/expensive.
>>14051879
If I have a beater with over 200k miles does geico help pay for repairs?
>>14051987
>I only have $1,500 for the down payment.
Volvo 244
>>14051991
No.
>>14051996
Read the fucking OP.
>>14052001
Why do I even pay for insurance?
>>14052001
>Read the fucking OP.
It's not Japanese, but that's a retarded requirement anyway.
It's a 4 door sedan, RWD, big, enjoyable, cheap.
>>14052008
So you can drive legally.
How else are you gonna pay for the accident?
>>14052008
to pay for repairs of the cars you crash into when your brakes fail
>>14052013
I'd drive off like a nigger dude c'duh
How about an Accord. Say, a 2006 Accord Ex V6
>>14051879
Infiniti G35.
Jap, 4 door, big trunk, RWD, sub-6s 0-60, pretty good handling for a heavy car, and it's all luxury 'n shit.
>>14052033
Say one with 170k miles for 4350
>>14052011
I'm wanting Japanese because Americans are unreliable and Europeans are turn-offs with most of them having a high cost of ownership.
Right now my 1990 Accord is starting to develop more problems due to the previous owners not taking care of it and if it's going to cost me 5 times more than I spent to purchase the car to fix it, I may as well look for a newer, better car.
Financing a $6k-$10k car will keep the payments low.
>>14052053
>>14052058
Can't finance anything under $5k, but I'll consider a G5.
>>14051879
Infiniti G37
>>14051923
Lexus IS250
Infiniti G25/35/37
>>14052068
>I'm wanting Japanese because of broad generalizations from 30 years ago.
Got it.
>>14051879
Solid Choice m8
V6 does 0-60 in a solid 6 seconds
>>14053053
>tripfag accord fanatic
A BMW 5-Series is starting to sound like a good idea.
Mazda6 v6 Maybe even the speed6, seems really attainable under 10k.
>>14053063
I'm more of a honda/japanese car fan in general
I drive an 03 accord, only its a 4 cylinder.
This board is full of BMW fanboys too, just fyi
>>14053087
They also seem nicer.
Fuck off tripfag.
Mazda 6 with a V6, I've heard some bad shit about them. Otherwise, best bet for what you're looking for.
>>14053121
I'm changing my mind because some tripfag wanted to barge in with his opinion.
I'm done.
just get a 90s or early 2000s lexus senpai
>>14053132

>>14053197
>oh anon that's not a weeb car

>>14053225
>no reason not to get one
>American made
hmm
>>14053225
I changed my mind.
I'll choose American or European now.
Fuck Japs.
>>14053121
The mazdaspeed6, you get that turbo and awd. comes only in manual, big and roomy.

>14053356
Idled hellaciously.
Horrible MPG
Power not in line with other cars
Thousands of cop farts/swamp ass in seat
Back seats of disgust.
Better off with the accord or civic or corolla.
Mazda 3 hatchback nigra
>>14053474
>>14053498
Y'all like cereal, though, right?
>>14053535
I'm not gonna ruin my car with ad wraps.
But yeah, I like Skittles and Captn Crunch (not together).
>>14053498
It's cheap, reliable, easily reparable, and fun. What else could you ask for?
>>14052068
>I want japanese because Americans are unreliable and Europeans are turn-offs with most of them having a high cost of ownership
Lol get the fuck out of here. That's literally "I have no idea what I'm talking about, but I'll just go with generally accepted normie ideas"
>>14054209
Anecdotally, I agree with OPs assessment.
Source: 3 years in service department working with most makes/models.
Non anecdotally, our company offers repair plans priced according to reliability and cost of repair. Jap/Korean are cheapest (best combo of reliability/repair cost), followed by USA, followed by European (excluding the occasional low end VW, like the Jetta).
