If you are taking out a loan, why not get a newer 370z? People will probably shit on me for suggesting a bigger loan. But if you are going to make monthly payments, get something newer and more reliable. Maybe you can get a longer term loan and pay about the same on the car monthly.

Buy an American car then. Mustang or Camaro. Most stuff that can break will be easy and cheap enough to fix. Anything N/A will probably be a better bet when it comes to reliability and cost of repairs, which is why the Jetta would suck (plus it isn't any fun to drive).
