Now go rev it past your dreams and enjoy life
>>13971367
fwd
>>13971367
Is the transmission ok? High coincidence of speaker and transmission failure.
>>13971367
You did good anon. As long as it runs for a bit you did good.

>butthurt because fwd is better everywhere outside of a racetrack
So the previous owner always had the speaker on full blast and dumped the clutch at every light?. You fucked up son
>>13971367
Pretty good. Replace the speakers and enjoy it.
Also, when was the timing belt changed? Look into that.
>>13974450
Only the automatics were known for blowing. The manuals are pretty bulletproof.

enjoy it then. Let us know when you want to modify it. I have an entire list of everything required to swap a K20/K24 into a 7th gen.

Lol thats sick
First thing im gonna do this weekend is get these

and buy a factory spoiler

A K-series engine swap isn't something to be taken lightly. There is no such thing as an easy engine swap, even if using almost all factory parts as is the case for the K-swap in this chassis. The 7th gen Civic came with a D17 engine which has shit for any performance aftermarket. If you want to have performance out of one, a K-swap is a necessary evil.

>7th gen civic had k engines stock
>swapping the same engine is going to be hard
>>13971367
Now do a J32 swap
>>13974875
The only 7th gen to get the K-series was the EP3 hatchback, The USDM Civic Si, and EU and JDM Civic Type R.
Excluding those, all Civics, like OP's used a D17 1.7L SOHC.
And even swapping to the same engine is hard if you've never done it before. Swapping from the D-series to the K-series involved swapping to an Acura RSX or Civic Si engine sub-frame.
It's not a simple swap. The swap can be done almost completely with factory Honda parts, but it isn't simple just do to the amount of work involved.

>Everything is good, except the speakers are blown
Lol. That seems like a red flag to me.

How?
