Are you seriously implying it wouldn't? The Mustang is the far more ideal car for a drag race. RWD, large engine, a bit heavier but still a better power/weight, and the live rear axle will give him a good launch.

If it's a road race without too many curves, the Prelude's handling advantage will either be outweighed by the Mustang's acceleration, or the curves may not even be tight enough to utilize the Prelude's handling.
