>Americans think putting a boat engine into a barge and cleaning it up a bit makes it a hypercar
>>13966844
>tantrum

Mercruisers are literally a GM block with different intake carb exhaust, cam and starter. Minor changes to the ignition and all that but its the same fucking thing you dolt. Mercruisers makes vortec 4.3 5.7 and has 454, 383 strokers and I think 400s. When will auto shits realize a marine motor makes a hell of a ton more torque and can drop in with minor changes?
>>13967211
suck a dick boatfag
those engines are lame
not even OHC
>>13967211
Maybe they already did, but you don't have to push a car through water, making excessive torque pointless. Better to focus on power, throttle response, longetivity and economy instead.
>>13967232
>excessive torque pointless
>focus on power
U focking wot nigger?
>>13967229
>>13967232
get a load of these shitters
>>13966782
That engine bay is yearning for a huge powerful engine, and the wheelarches are also yearning for meaty tyres to put the power down
>>13967267
Mercury Racing quad cam or Evindrude 2 stroke V8
fuck your GM garbage
>>13967290

Why not use a hot v if you're gonna tarbo a v?
>>13967232
>talking about 1650hp twin turbo 9L
>focus on power and economy
