Manual steering rack from an Mr2, various bracing all around, shocks, TRD or kaaz 1.5 or 2 way LSD. About all you need. Lowering it 1 inch helps a decent amount and you should do it. Keep the wheels at 14".

Literally why? There is no delay in the AE86's steering, it is just power steering. You can't even tell the difference between power steering and non-power steering when you are at speed

Also, in my case, I don't want to deal with my leaky ass power steering ever again. Just another 30 year old component that will fail. A manual rack has nothing but a couple rubber seals that'll need changing in 20 years. But yeah, the power steering does feel fine when it works. Manual rack is a little lighter and it helps that you don't need to drive a pump for it.

sheepshagfag here looking for an irishfag to tell me how i would go about getting an AE86 back to wales without insuring it. could i get someone to trailer it to a port then send it and i pick it up in west wales and trailer it back or would it be cheaper to drive to guinessland with an empty trailer?
