Hey /o/. The previous owner of my '70 Skylark had ripped out the horn wiring from the steering column for some reason. How do I route new wiring through the steering column? Do I need to disassemble the column?

Who needs a horn when you have a finger? :^)

Top jej... It's my daily and I often get cut off by terrible drivers who won't bother to look in their side view mirror. Almost got into an accident because of this. Figured I probably need a horn soon.

Clean Skylark anon. Yes, you will have to remove the coulmn unless the shroud is 2 piece ( I doubt it). About the only other way it may be possible is a thin metal rod ran up from the bottom with the wiring attached.

Also more pics please.

Pic isn't mine. I'll take some pics of mine and post it. Yup this exactly. I could see the wiring when I look underneath and figured I'd give it a try routing some metal wire through the tube. Seeing as there were already some wires going through I figured it would work but stopped halfway through.
Here we go.
Absolutely hate the timer between posts...

Also, thanks for answering. Appreciate the help. Hopefully I can figure this out and get the wires in by tomorrow.
