I think threw in some E46s and Z3s in there too. All around 3k or less, all in good enough condition. Some are four doors but they aren't any heavier or worse than the 2 door except for looks.

It can be good but it wil never handle like a proper sports car, and you will spend money to make it good. After you modify it you mayas well spent the extra cash for an S13 or MR2 unless you really wanted the Civic over those cars even before factoring in cost. Even if you are slower you would have enjoyed those cars more

You can get a sub normal condition 328 here in Latvia. I had a 318 compact which was given for free from my dads friend. Bmw's here are easier to get than bread.
