CD slot clamps a best. Sturdier mount than suction cups, doesn't obstruct the view in any way, and who uses CDs anyway?

e30 has this little coin holder area that is good for leaving a phone

I put mine there with something behind it to prop it up

GPS on a suction cup mount on the windshield and phone goes in one of the doodad shelves volvo provided. PO put in a head unit that only has a CD player so no AUX cord for me until I take the plunge and spend money on a new one.

Wat car is that? It looks super familiar.

And is that big flat spot original with the car? Or did somebody have it installed? Even if you didn't keep a GPS, it would be a great little spot to keep a couple things. Like a chocolate bar that melts in the sun and destroys your dash.

Now I know why it looks familiar. My brother's Explorer had the same buttons for the stereo. I don't remember if it had that same flat shelf on top though where other anon keeps his GPS.

One of two spots, in the tiny junk-hole behind the handbreak, or in the slot under the stereo, if I'm hooked into the aux.
