Just got home from a test drive in one of these bad boys. gotta say, im very impressed. interior was neat, performance was spot on, handled great, looked cool. definitely felt lighter and smaller than i expected!
too bad its 4 doors, though. im really more in the market for a sports car.
Ok.

Cool blog post

The current STI just doesn't look right for me. Now more than ever it just looks like a boring family car with a hole in the bonnet and a Halfords wing glued to the back.

Then weld the rear door shut for extra stiffness. TARD
You would have been blown away if you test drove a real sports car.

if only they still made them

IMO it looks much better in person. I saw one just like OP's pic up close for the first time a few days ago, and liked it a lot more than in pics/vids.
Not buying an e92 335 and tuning it to have lots more horsepower.
Lol dude Subaru has made the same boring car and configuration for 20 years now. Fuck off with your horseshit opinion.

What are you talking about? There's plenty new ones still.

>There's plenty new ones still.
Which is why they stopped making them.

They're pretty nice.

>implying BMWs haven't looked exactly the same with the same boring inline 6 for 40 years
You can't even meme right, the STi has only had the same engine since 2008 (and is completely different from the EJ20 that was in the 1995 STi) and in the meantime they've been upgrading the transmission and chassis. You're forgetting Subaru is a very tiny company still and can't afford to do much R&D on a car that doesn't make up a considerable portion of their sales. It's not meant to compete with cars that start at $100k new anyway.

335is are dyno queens.

You can't shit on another company for making the same car for years while liking BMW. BMW's styling has been the same for like 10 years now. Even their vision concept car in GT looked like just an M4 with a body kit. BMW has no originality. That's why they just keep modifying their old as fuck I6 design.
Just bought this thurday. In my opinion best wrx chassis yet. Handles like it's on rails. Feels very solid but suspension is just soft enough that you don't hate it over rough roads. Now I'm just waiting for the snow to hit so I can unleash the beast

DONT
I drive a 15' STi in Alberta and winter took a very hard toll. Paint under my front bumper scraped off, paint chipped around fender from freezing and just awful winter wear. I'm pretty sure Subaru is notorious for shitty short lifed paint.
It was fun as fuck tho the AWD configureation was literally perfect for snow drifting. I drifted down this long ass crescent one winter night in perfect control it was amazing. My parking break needs to be retightened now tho
testing
