Hey /o/, gotta question for you.
Was driving in my 2010 535xi, suddenly got hi temp warning light and power to my engine was cut off. Parked pn the shoulder and checked under the hood, and there was some coolant leaking from the reservoir, not much. Checked under the front tight wheel well, itbwas drenched and some parts of the wheel itself. What am I looking at here? Is it a faulty water pump, or did I just not click the top well enough? Car is reaching 100k miles.
Was the leaking water hot

No idea, wasn't too keen on possibly scalding myself. It wasn't a whole lot of coolant, some wet areas on the reservoir itself and damp right on the cover, most of the drenchy areas i saw wad the wheel well and wheel

OP here, I recall now that when I unscrewed the reservoir cap, very hot air was rising out. What could have happened?
You bought a POS BMW. It broke down because it's a POS BMW. Have fun with the repair bill for your POS BMW because you come across a the type that can't wrench.
BMW is shit, literal shit.

No, they're great cars. You just need to be always prepared for a random break down and repairs. btw BMW has a great community with many DYI articles so you can fix almost everything without paying your own shekels for labor

wut. That's the definition of a shitty unreliable German POS.
Should've bought a Cadillac OP.

They're not reliable indeed, but this doesn't make them shitty in general
You can't get something really good and expect it to has no flaws. It's like a 10/10 qt grill that always needs an attention if you don't want to lose her

>It's like a 10/10 qt grill that always needs an attention if you don't want to lose her
Let me fix that.
It's like a 10/10 qt girl with bipolar disorder who always needs attention, and when she flips, she'll run out with your wallet and max out all your credit cards and ruin your credit rating.

It's not THAT bad. Trust me, I had 7 European cars

is that a shoop though?
>>13640673
It is. However there are routines that will transform you into t-rex mode because of their focus on squats

The point remains the Cadillac CTS OP should've gotten would be more reliable.
