The psychopath's in Wash DC are getting ready to take us to war. And of course this one WILL end up being fought with nuclear weapons. What can be done?

Nice fear mongering
>>
>>62100
>Nice fear mongering
Here is a clue. Do the math from the Amer Rev, to the Civil War, then to the Great Depression/WWII. It's 75 to 80 yrs between each event. The cycle can be traced back into old europe.
>>
>>62116
What do you think the government is going to do with the fuel?
>>
>>62116
Thats some rock solid historical analysis there joe
>>
>>62134
>What do you think the government is going to do with the fuel?
It is a perishable commodity. Why are they producing so much? I see we have our military right on Russia's border, why? Russia never attacked country over there, and they should defend themselves. How would we feel if Russia had troops on our southern border?
>>
>>62138
Do the math....joe.
>>
>>62141
> Russia never attacked country over there
Tell that to the nation of Ukraine.
Russia sponsored and engineered an "uprising" that was an invasion in all but name.
>>
1. You can't refine for a single type of fuel, since many are produced in refining fuel. Any surpluses that can't be sold must be stored. So if you need more, say, car gasoline but not more jet fuel, well then you'll just have to store the extra jet fuel you produce unless you want to deflate the price.

2. They could be creating surplus for later strategic manipulation of prices in a foreign market, like I dunno, say in Russia or the Middle East. Considering that's been a major part of the war strategy against ISIS and in sanctions against Putin, it would make sense.

3. Maybe the strategic reserve needs refilling for at least some fuels, though of course jet fuel will be an inevitable casualty for reason 1 (or again they could just deflate the price).
>>
>>62143
His poor English shows it is not his native tongue. Just another Kremlin shill.
>>
We have 4000 fuel rigs we can tap. Right now, we're only tapping ~400.

The stockpile is there only so we have the time to get the rigs running.
>>
>>62166
Jesus op, are you really that crazy
>>
>>62143
>Russia sponsored and engineered an "uprising" that was an invasion in all but name.
You can't be that stupid, nobody is. ergo, you must be a gov troll. It was the US and Victoria Nuland that pumped up the civil unrest that lead to the overthrow in Ukraine. Remember the Victoria N. "Fuck the EU." recorded phone call? No? Of course not you troll. But it's all over youtube. Listen to the whole call. We destabilized Ukraine, like we did Syria, Iraq and Libya.
>>
>>62157
>You can't refine for a single type of fuel, since many are produced in refining fuel.
I know. Fact is, our gov is refining.....wait, did you even read the article?
>>
>>62166
not, but does it matter?
>>
>>62254
>did you even read the article?
Reading and believing unsourced claims from Zerohedge are 2 different things.

but yet you swallow when the MSM comes? how has that been working out?
>>
>>62267
Go post your Alex Jones stories on /pol/, kid.
>>
>>62099
wouldn't having a stockpile in case of an emergency be a smart thing? ok so it has a years shelf life, so i'm assuming they are going to rotate through old stuff and replace it with new
>>
>>62268
Historically, what do governments do when the economy turns down and/or they have a debt burden they can't or won't pay off? We are there. And also what happens every 80 years? War. What will it be this time? WWIII or Civil War II. It's like clock work. History is cyclical, not linear. History, is that something you young kids never studied? Are you common core educated? Ever hear of The Fourth Turning.
>>
>>62270
Let me put it to you this way. If the economy was doing well, gas prices would be up around $3.50 at least ...(did you even read the article?)
>>
>>62099
that article could be a textbook example of conspiracy theory.
From some piece of information the author extrapolate a credible hypothesis which he cannot confirm yet he regard it as an absolute truth. He try to persuade the reader with a lot rhetoric and even close the article with a scaremongering "WE HAVE BEEN WARNED".
Not even normies would fall for an article like this one today, it's literally tinfoil hat level.
>>
>>62276
Are you even aware of what is happening in the world? Ever hear of cycles? The FACT is, 1) we are refining way more than we need, 2) it is a perishable commodity, 3) we do go through a major crisis, war, or depression every 80 years (some call it The Fourth Turning), 4) the "elites" have been building retreats with bunkers in out of the way places or moving out of the US. 5) we will be facing a Sovereign Debt crisis within the next two years. What happens then? Like always, they take us to war, it's so easy.
>>
>>62285
Crazy people have been predicting "the soveign debt currency crisis" for 50 years now. Like the Great American Gun Grab and Obama's supposed Martial Law plans (remember all those alleged FEMA coffins?), these things never happen. You sound like a case study on that Doomsday Preppers show.
>>
>>62287
History says we will default on our debt. It wouldn't be the first time in US history that happened, now would it? The last time that happened there was no welfare system, people knew how to take care of themselves. Today it's going to be interesting, seeing as how so many people depend on free shit from the gov. All socialist systems collapse, and we are a socialist system.
>>
>>62298
>All socialist systems collapse, and we are a socialist system.
May the ghost of Trotsky haunt you until you learn what socialism really is?
>>
>>62116
Where did WW1 go?
>>
>>62254
>our gov
You've already been outer as an Ivan, Ivan
>>
>>62298
America will never default on the fucking debt, because that's not how international debt works. Every major country is in debt with their neighbors, and has debt with those same neighbors. America will never give up that debt because if they drop theirs, there is no guarantee that Russia or China will drop theirs.

Debt is probably one of the reasons that we have not had a major conflict in the last 40 years.
>>
>>62356
Im not the nut job OP, but countries have thrown debt out the window before. Germany did in the 20's, and I forgot the details but hyperinflation of the Mark was the primary reason.
>>
>>62365
>Germany did in the 20's
They had to pay reparations for World War I.

Zimbabwe recently had hyperinflation, but other than that, it's really rare in modern times.

Agreed about OP being a tinfoilfag though.
>>
>>62368
>reparations
Actually this particular case had to do with debt to the US, since American investors began pouring money into Germany when the Weimar Republic was actually doing well briefly before the depression.
They also had to pay reparations, but that was a separate bill.

The United States has maintained large-scale emergency petroleum reserves since 1975. This is nothing new. The purpose is to be prepared for market shocks, such as a repeat of the Arab Oil Embargo. The reason they are expanding the reserve now is because prices are so low. And they can easily rotate out old oil for new oil in the reserve by continually buying and selling in the market, which is what they've been doing for decades for decades. This is nothing new.

>>
>>62298
If the United States is close to defaulting on its debt, then why are interest rates on US federal debt near an all-time low? Investors proportion their valuation of government bonds to the risk associated with holding it. If investors thought there was any significant risk of a US government default, then those interest rates would be much higher. And I'm confident that most professional investors know more about the economy than random posters on 4chan.

Straw man fallacy. Climate and bond markets are not the same.
>>
>>62272
>every 80 years? War.
/his/ here, let's take a closer look at that assertion:

Timeline of major US Wars

1) American Revolution 1775-1783
2) War of 1812 1815 (Gap = 29 years)
3) Mexican American War 1846-1848 (Gap = 33 years)
4) American Civil War 1860-1865 (Gap = 12 years)
5) Spanish-American War 1898 (Gap = 33 Years)
6) World War 1 1917-1918 (Gap = 19 years)
7) World War 2 1941-1945 (Gap = 21 years)
8) Korean War 1950-1953 (Gap = 5 years)
9) Vietnam War 1965-1973 (Gap = 12 years)
10) Gulf War 1990-1991 (Gap = 27 years)
11) War in Afghanistan 2001-Present (Gap = 10 years)
12) War in Iraq 2003-2011 (Gap = -7 years)
13) War against ISIS 2014-Present (Gap = -2 years)

I rate your claim as pants aflame with the fire of 1000 suns.

White people are dying out. The future belongs to blacks and Hispanics. USA will be 20% white by 2100.
>>
>>62592
White people aren't "dying out", they simply aren't reproducing as much or as fast as other races.
>>
>>62590
Take out all the minor wars, yes like the War of 1812 and the Mex Amer War.

Take out all the "wars of choice" like the Vietnam and Korean wars and such (because there were more, we know.)

Ask the question, was WWI really a global, or European war.

Keep all the major conflicts that were actually fought for our VERY SURVIVAL....

Amer Rev (our independence), the Civil War (the very union of our nation) and WWII (again, our very survival as a nation).

Kind of like looking at the stock market, take a longer view to see the trends, and even trends within trends.

Look up The Fourth Turning, and Martin Armstrong's "war cycles".
>>
>>62592
Basically blacks and latinos will turn this country into the place they came from. They will not be able to maintain Western Civilization.

MARTIAL LAW MARTIAL LAW

TURN ON CNN

>War of 1812
>Minor
>Mexican American War
>minor
>was WW1 really global
>lol only keep the major wars I say are major
>Vietnam shouldn't count even though it had a bigger impact on American culture than basically anything else in the last 60 years
>lol look at the stock market, which has had highly volatile ups and downs at unpredictable intervals, there's totally a pattern!
>muh Strauss–Howe generational theory
> muh Armstrong economics

What's next, are you gonna refer me to Time Cube? You're either completely insane or in maximum overbait mode.
>>
>>62637
so much wrong with what you said.

about the stock market, you have heard of "the business cycle" right?

WWI as with Vietnam, Korea and so many more, were wars of choice. If we didn't get involved in WWI, it wouldn't have been a threat to our very survival.
>>
>>62455
perhaps the best answer to this question is an economic answer.
>>
>>62663
You think business cycles are predictable? Are you high as a fucking kite or just literally braindead?

>muh wars of choice

Why is that even significant? Those wars were still impactful on US culture. You don't just get to dismiss every war that the country chose to get into. By that logic we can throw the revolution right out, as we chose to revolt against the brits. Sweet jesus christ you're retarded.
>>
>>62695
>You think business cycles are predictable? Are you high as a fucking kite or just literally braindead?
Every 7 to 8.6 years there is a slow down. Mostly just high as a kite.....hiccup
>>
>>62142
You need a bit more evidence than that to show a pattern. Try a little and I'll humor you
You'd have to have a shitload of information at hand & some real math & analysis on the economic and foreign policy factors at play
>>
>>62440
Let's see whenever I see a thread on this on /Biz/ they all say pretty much the same shit as that guy and you're making childish insults instead of arguments so I'm not really sure what you're trying to accomplish here other than looking stupid
>>
>>62613
If you think those are minor wars you need to pick up a fucking history book
1812 was the most serious threat our nation ever faced aside from the civil war
Stop fucking posting, take your tinfoil hat and go to a shitposting board. /News/ is meant to be like a text board for a reason.
>>
>>62783
>1812 was the most serious threat our nation ever faced

Except the U.S. officially started it (in response to impression, though they had to choose whether to attack the French or Brits), and while conquering the U.S. was not a British objective, conquering Canada *was* a U.S. objective.
>>
>>62783
The US was the evil invading force, they were rightly defeated and justice prevailed.

That article only mentions refineries and private storage, not the strategic reserve.

Stockpiling for summer is common, because there's more demand during summer months.

There's also probably more pressure to have more on hand because so many refineries have been shut in recent years that there keep being supply shortages of special blends like California's leading to threats of legal action.

But no, why think about it. Easier to assume it's a conspiracy to nuke you.
