As a person who has been cat-called numerous times(usually by creepy Mexicans), as annoying as it is, it's not something that should be fixed with the police getting involved. It needs to be fixed with education that not all women need your approval(so don't you dare bitch because she ignores you or even tells you to fuck off) and often have more important matters to attend to then get chatted up on the street.
