>For 29 years, National Public Radio’s “Morning Edition” has celebrated the Fourth of July with a reading of the Declaration of Independence by hosts, reporters, newscasters and commentators.
>This historically uncontroversial testament to the nation’s founding document proved uncontroversial-no-more in the year 2017.
>After NPR tweeted the Declaration line by line, Donald Trump backers, seemingly unaware of the source document, accused the media organization of playing partisan politics.
>“So, NPR is calling for a revolution,” Twitter user @JustEsrafel wrote.
>“Propaganda is that all you know?” another asked.
>Some even taunted NPR over the president’s budget proposal, insisting this is why NPR will lose federal funding.

The Declaration of Independence was originally written by Thomas Jefferson, and was adopted by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776. It laid out the 13 colonies’ intention to separate from the Kingdom of Britain and form an independent union. It is not a partisan document.

When he was elected, I said, "Well, at least the next four years are going to be funny." Haven't stopped laughing.

No. They were succeeding from the liberals who ran England. The US was trying to destroy the so called enlightenment. Most liberals were loyalist too, and we cleansed the nation of them down to their children. It speaks volumes of how far we fell when we took the side of the liberals during WWII.
It's just /pol/ trolling twitter. Nothing newsworthy.

>We tweeted something, hundreds of people responded and get this...
>Some of them aint too bright haha
Dont people do this for a segment on comedy shows? Where they ask hundreds simple questions and air 4-5 retards who think abraham lincoln was an english king or that white eggs were injected in factories
>>154439
Don't libs throw a fit everytime anyone on the right tweets anything?
Stupid article
>>154455
MERELY
Holy fucking shit. Does nobody teach Civics in school these days?
>>154474
nope, it triggers the students.
>>154453
Holy dumb fuck. I bet you like to call antifascists "revisionists", don't you?
>>154453
The bait is too good to ignore but too shitty to take, either.
>>154462
Yeah, but so do the Right.
If your kid did something wrong and they said "But Tommy does it too!", would you not scold them?

>>After NPR tweeted the Declaration line by line, Donald Trump backers, seemingly unaware of the source document, accused the media organization of playing partisan politics.
False Flag operation.
>>154495
You can call it a hoax if you want, many Trump supporters will look for evidence of conspiracy in the most innocuous shit so it wouldn't be surprising at all that this were true.
There are almost certainly folks who know NPR's source and still think just quoting it is evidence of a left wing media (even though NPR is thoroughly at least centrist since it bends over backward to invite Republican, conservatives, and sometimes white nationalists to take part in their discussions) conspiracy to catalyze a coup of the US govt

> "just because we do it doesn't mean you should do it too"
>Play fair guys two wrongs don't make a right
>Hey be nice!
Libs are having a hard time now that the right is playing by their own rules I guess
It's pretty funny that the conspiritards are now criticizing propaganda that looks too rebellious.

Specifically taken out. A population who never reads the Constitution can't see a problem when the gov ignores it.
>>154439
they quote reactions to these posts, but not the posts themselves.
sounds like bullshit.
