Are there any books that have everything you need to know about bike repair? There's lots of conflicting ideas on the internet.
OP, if you're working on older bikes, and want information skewing basic, I'd check out Everybody's Bike Book.

Park Tool
Sheldon Brown
Not "everything" there is to know, but almost certainly everything you will need to know. You need to get seriously arcane before you move from Park Tool to Sheldon. If it's not on Sheldon, Google is almost your only resource. If it's not easily google-able, ask here.

The Park Tool website has lots of good information. Otherwise Bicycling Magazine published a book that's supposed to be good. Or you could just, you know, go to a book store and look. They're all going to have more or less the same information.

The manufacturer's website, in the case of Specialized. Search for instruction videos.
If only they made Haynes manuals for bicycles...
