Can you recommend me a bicycle for the country side? Some streets, some farm roads, some gravel path, some small hills. I like to ride 1-3 hours every day.
Nothing too crazy. Everything under 700$ would be fine.

Use the leftover money to buy a cheap second pair of wheels with knobblies for off-road shit
For that money you're better off buying used
Cyclo cross.

Cough up some scratch if that's really how much you ride. Such a chunk out of every single day deserves a little more investment.

For $700 you can buy used and get something good.
>cyclocross bike (not the race kind) (and you'll want semislicks on it, something a bit smoother than cx tires)
>"gravel bike"
>OTS with semislicks
Otherwise if you insist on buying new, a flat bar hybrid is pretty much your only option. And there's nothing wrong with flat bar hybrids, some of them are really good bikes. However, you won't go as fast as on a cx/gravel bike, and you also won't have as many hand positions unless you install add-ons such as bar ends.
But if you really ride 1-3 hours per day, I would suggest saving up more money, spending about $1500 on a new bike.
