Really comfy OP, i do the same for the same reason. My advice is when you photo your bike, picture pedals level 3-9 oclock. Makes pictures look better even if it's BSO. Own that Grand Rock BSO and share a pic every new /pybt/

Riding really helps depression, I'm still fighting it but if it wasn't for riding I'd be worse

It's funny how many people ride to combat their inner demons. Depression, breakups, anxiety, familial issues... Most of the very dedicated cyclists I know have some background story like this once you get them to open up, all riding to keep their sanity.

Riding away from your problems (you almost described me) is a nice incentive and maybe not the worst way to cope with them.
