What is your favorite funicular? Pic is not my favorite, but it is a funicular.
Probably this one.
Only the small tractors are the funicular, they push cars of an interurban tram that continue on their own on flatland sections.

Here's another theme park funicular if you're interested, this one is from Six Flags Magic Mountain (which is kind of a dump desu)
over 100 years old suspended monorail funicular in Dresden

Duquesne (Doo-kayne) incline in Pittsburgh, the best funicular
Dunno if my favourite, I haven't known that many funiculars, but I really like this one. It runs from the upper part of Barcelona up the mountainside to the borough (formerly a village) of Vallvidrera. It's actually used a lot by commuters, and of course also tourists and hikers.

I know of that one, actually. It's an extremely rare example of a rail line in North America running on meter gauge track. I only know of one other meter gauge system here and it's the Red Car Trolley is Disney's California Adventure theme park across from Disneyland.
Does anyone happen to know any details about the funicular in Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri? Who built it, its track gauge, etc. It's a pretty interesting one, as it transports people out of a large cave system (Marvel Cave) back to the park, but almost nothing is known about it.

It was made in the 50's by the Herschends who owned the caves then
