Hey /t/, my walmart shit bike died and I have a chance to get pic related, a 1980s Raleigh Capri for $150.
Should I go for it? Is it too old?

>n*
why the fuck is this board /n/? makes no sense.
Offer $120. That's a decent bike
>steel wheels
into the trash it goes
>>1050206
The frame is steel as well.
What's wrong with steel wheels though? Other than le heavy
>>1050207
They taco easily, and they offer terrible braking performance
>>1050215
Okay.
Would I still get more performance out of them than fucking Walmart bike brand tires though? That's all I care about at this point.
My fucking Walmart bike's brake cables wore away in a month, the damn tires burst in 2 months, the rear axle broke in 3 months, and then it broke again in another month, and the brakes on the front are giving away. Also the deraileur slips like a fucker.
No more mountain bikes or walmart bikes.

I guess you could always get a cheap alloy wheelset later
The bike itself looks in pretty good condition. I hope you're 6' or taller though, it's a rather large frame.

I'm manlet 5'11. I hope it's tall enough. I'm only 18 though so maybe I'll get an extra inch.

The Jp word for "transportation" is "norimono"
Capris are bike-boom shitters; offer 100 max.
