Don't?

But I really want to.
>>1041598
don't worry. I got a fear of heights and i got my CPL.
>>1041613
How do you deal with it?
>>1041598
I get squirmy when I'm on a tall ladder or roof or something or when I'm hiking near a cliff, and I have 1,300+ hours in helicopters.
You don't feel it when you're flying.
>>1041616
when you're incontrol and flying, you do not get a fear of flying or heights.
>>1041598
A fear of flying isn't irrational, nor is a fear of heights if the height is high enough that a fall would cause you harm.
I want to be a journalist but I have a speech impediment
>>1041600
Why do you really want to?
>>1041598
geta larger fear,, ofground.
>>1041598
It's okay, OP, I fly choppers and mountaineer, and I'm terrified of heights. It's better if you're afraid of heights in both cases, honestly, as it keeps you from doing something stupid
> an irrational fear of flying and heights
I would say those are both rational fears.
>>1041918
No, a fear of crashing is rational.
>>1041956
That's just semantics, just like how a fear of heights is actually a fear of falling. A fear of heights is irrational when a fall from such low height poses no harm but is still feared. There aren't many cases of flying where a crash could be considered harmless so a fear of flying in general could be considered rational.

>fear of flying and heights
So which one is it.
Once the trees look like toys height is just a number on your panel.
>>1041598
go to a psychologist. you will undergo effective therapy that will get rid of your irrational fear. then learn how to fly a helicopter.
