First build just finished today. My new ride for next year's triathlon season. What do you guys think? SRAM red mostly with force 11 derailleurs. Went with SRAM because my road bike is SRAM also and I could rob parts in a tough situation.
You're going straight to the moon on that thing
Bar tape looks gr8

Hrm...
Why do I get the sneaking suspicion that Ridley doesn't rate their steerer tubes for that kind of stack height?
>>1027667
no expert in tri bikes but isn't the front brake cable too short? This might be related to the comically high handlebars...
Post it in here

You special fucking snowflake
>>1027667
Lots of spacers there. Also lots of cables.
Appart from that it's an ugly frame (imo), but gota go fast i guess !
>>1027667
Have you actually had that thing fitted properly to you yet, or are you waiting on that happening before you trim the steerer? Doesn't look right.

Triathletes can barely ride a bike, you expect one to fit and put together?
Goddamn trifags
>>1027667
Jesus christ, I have lower bars on the bike I ride with a backpack on.

>aero bike for going fast
>handlebars at comfort hight
I am jelly of your bike but why in the fuck would you not lower the bars for an aggressive position?
I was nervous about cutting the bike because the seat goes right on the frame. The seat height is correct and we are going to trim the stack in the next couple of months. I'll be using it on the trainer for a couple months because it has gotten cold here. While riding it I will adjust the stacks and then we will cut it in Feb/Mar. That's why we left it long. And the cables are all long enough, the front wheel turns fine

You should go to someone who is experienced in fitting Tri/TT bikes and pay them to do it, not fuck around with trying to figure it out yourself. You can fuck up your body bad on an ill-fitted Tri/TT bike.

Who?

I am working with the LBS and the seat is correct. I'll be adjusting the front as I train and have them cut it in a couple of months before I start training on the road. I am not very flexible so it won't be as low as the other pic in this thread. Im huge for a triathlete. I race at 230 lbs but run 7:30 miles and bike at 19.3 mph, at least on my road bike. I can bench press 350 lbs, not many triathletes that can do that lol
That's also at 8-10% body fat, 6' tall, and a 30" waist.
Dude that is seriously un-aero. Lrn 2 aero
>pic related, my bike
