What does /n/ think of this meme?

I bet they're heavy as fuck and the ride quality will be shit.
>>1024727
if you ride off a curb every bone in your body will shatter.
I've ridden bikes with these sort of tires before. They're awful.
Tubeless tires and tires with kevlar belts in them already fixed this problem. Without the loss in grip, comfort, rolling resistance, etc.

It's SHIT. You'd probably rattle your bike to pieces riding on anything other than smooth pavement. Bet they corner like shit at high speeds, too, not flexing enough to maintain contact with the pavement.
Shit like this is meant for filthy casual commuters who don't ever exceed 15mph, not real cyclists.

Yeah this too.
>no choice in wheelsets
THESE ARE FOR CASUALS.
Airless tyres have been around for ages. They're heavy and ride like shit
>>1024907
I assume since this is a kickstarter site it's not just any airless tire but a NEW REVOLUTIONARY DESIGN FROM RENOWN STUDENTS OF SOME BULLSHIT DESIGN UNIVERSITY
I haven't had a flat in a year. Who come that people get so many flats?
Oh look the millionth version of a "new revolutionary tire system" also known as a fucking solid tire.
wow innovashun

Bet it rides great!
There is already peramneverflat that lets you use the tire you want. Downside is that its almost 2kg per solid tube
>>1024995
People don't invest in good tires. Every time I recommend a friend a ~$20 tire they look at me like I'm insane.
>>1025000
DELET THIS!
>>1024995
Here its because people never top off their tires, dot that they are properly inflated after installation anyway.
A worn out thread is rare to see,the tires sidewall usually just tear out.

That's not solid and does nothing to prevent punctures from something penetrating the tyre (you could still ride on it after a puncture, like run flats on cars). It's designed to prevent pinch flats from running low pressures as well as hold the tyre bead in place to prevent burping.
> 10-15% increase in rolling resistance
is there an insanely puncture resistant tire such as specialized armadillo's in a tubeless variety? seems like that would be the ultimate way to prevent flats without giving up much performance wise.
