I understand what you're saying, but I enjoy working on my bike, it's a comfy way to spend my free time. I wouldn't enjoy working on other people's bikes for 40 hours a week though.

>coming out ahead
>being a wage slave
>but being less fulfilled as a man
literal cuck logic

>I save time by payingothers to do it since Im working at WageSlaveHQ
jokes aside, me now having a job now, I understand your position and even I started leaving my bike to a mechanics, since TIME=MONEY.
However, no matter how much small time you have you should ALWAYS try to do simple repairs by yourself or know how to do them since many "cyclist" are mechanically illeterate (like changing tires, stem, casettes etc., I know many "serious cyclists" that dont know even those basic services). It often takes more time to leave a bike at mechnics than to do simple repairs in DIY mode and your preference for components changes for the better + you learn a skill you can teach your kids in the future etc.

Do you work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week every week? If not then you can work more AND still find time to fix your own bike and come out even further ahead.
