Show me a bus that looks better than this one.
Protip : You CAN'T.

Buses are for poor people.
>>1002640
honestly if school buses had better gas mileage and better cooling I feel like they would be pretty dank.

Hola Chile.

This livery is top-fucking-notch..
Hows this one?
I don't know much about buses but I like the look of this one.

GenXfag detected!

Pure sex enviro400. Looks amazing in KMB rather than London red. Love the double wheels too.
Why do new worlders have such bad taste at everything recently?
>>1002617
Mercedes O321H
>>1002846
that is beyond sexy
This is the bus that spread LSD all over America before it was outlawed
>>1002735
I also think Irizar buses look nice. Original Century's didn't, tho.
>>1002846
Pure sex. I think that Argentina had them, we didn't cuz we made our own based off Mercedes trucks with the same front.
>>1002734
Why are European buses so nice, but their liveries aren't? Many companies here try to make a livery per bus, or one for all. The only shitty ones are from Tur-Bus.
Here's one of my favorites. The maker isn't my favorite, since most Peruvian buses are shit.
>>1002863
fuck yeah, rock on merry pranksters
Can I be bus please?
>>1002846
>>1002617
As far as that type of bus goes? Definitely OP.
As far as urban transit buses go? Definitely the New Flyer D40LF. Probably the most iconic (modern) bus in NA.
>TFW there are so many around your city that you can instantly hear the sound of one accelerating whenever you see a picture of it.
Pic related: My hometown bus in the new livery.

>Fake Setra bus
>>1003032
That could be truth, if Alexander Dennis didn't brought their Enviro 500 to NA
I really liked the new London double decker except the weird headlights. The advertising they stick all over them kind of ruins them though.
>>1003032
We have these in Seattle and they suck ass.
>Ugly
>Non-hybrid
>loud
>always crowded on my route
>no back window for comfyness
I drove this a few weeks ago, 20 years old but still smooth, quiet and powerful
Scania chassis, Full glass roof, thermo king air con, comfort shift manual gearbox. This would have been a high end coach back in '97
>>1002970
Fuck off my dude, read up on the Merry Pranksters. Had a project over these dudes in high school senior year, was a fucking blast to do. Watch "Magic Trip", is a movie that is over their trip (ha) and read The Electric Kool aid Acid Trip. It's about Ken Kesey leading these guys across the US in the best roadtrip of all time
>>1003032
>tfw there are only 11 left in Toronto
>tfw they are all operated in the west end so you never see
>they will all be gone by 2017 if not earlier

Bit off topic, but how is it like to be a bus driver?
Are the hours and pay OK? Do the passengers give you a lot of trouble? Is it hard to get into the profession? Do you need to spend a lot of time in hotels?
>>1005298
To be honest mate I'm not normally a bus driver, I'm a bus mechanic. Though I do have the licenses to drive a bus and fill in when needed. It's pretty easy to get into if your not a criminal.

>nuke launcher disguised as bus
hmmm
>>1002646
Wat.
>>1002774
I love the observation deck window in these, and those curves. This variant operated by Stagecoach has a tasteful beige interior with leather seats.

Quite strange how Alexander Dennis and Scania got together to build busses, when they would otherwise be competing in similar markets. Do Scania build an urban double decker chassis?
>>1007002
They do, the OmniCity for example. I can't find any sources on it but I suspect Scania just can't be bothered doing luxury bodies for them, this is a very basic bus in comparison to any of the ADLs in the thread.
ACTION busses all look great.
>>1007139
what's that yellow shit on the front?
>>1007248
a folded-up bike rack
>>1007248
Bus bikerack.
I've seen some that can hold up to four at a time.
Unfortunately, they are usually the first to go in a front end collision.
>>1007248
It's a sportworks DL2 bike rack. They fold up when not in use. Most of the action fleet have them fitted, except the 14.5m and artic busses because of length limits.
