why do you pretend that all of Radiohead's songs don't sound the same? except Paranoid Android
I don't even like Radiohead but that's a retarded opinion
I like Radiohead and this is a very retarded opinion
By paying attention to everything but the vocals. Like, it amazes me how a band with such a one trick pony for a vocalist has "greatest of all time" level mainstream praise. Everything's always in that sad high pitched tone.
I don't even like Radiohead but that's a correct opinion
Are they becoming the new U2?

>what is any song in which his voice is electronically altered
>>75178189
You can hear through the electronic alteration that he's singing the same exact way. The only cases on legit variation in his technique is when he screams at the end of Climbing Up The Walls.

Yeah, Just sounds a lot like Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors. Spot on observation, mate.

In many ways they were a natural continuation of U2 at the turn of the century. U2 went through many radical changes in sound, culminating in the weird electric influence of OST1 and Pop, which are fairly obvious inspirations for OK Computer and especially Kid A / Amnesiac. OST1 sounds quite a bit like a proto Kid A. Then when U2 turned to standard pop trash in the 00s, Radiohead continued in the direction U2 went down. U2 had two great decades before becoming utterly mediocre, and Radiohead is now at a similar time frame to them. I don't see Radiohead diving into pop though, they don't strike me as a band chasing relevance and radio hits like U2.
