The song is deliberately making fun of all the british blues artists that were popping up at the time, and ironically it does it better than any of them. They were so overly concerned with technicality and posturing that it's almost kind of funny that it took The Beatles to do a more interpretation, getting raw and dirty with it.

This performance is pretty great though.
