Hi /mu/
I've been inexplicably sad and angry the last few days. No major changes in my life except for a promotion and a bit more (but still manageable) responsibility at work. Usually when I feel like this I listen to some of my favorite and it all clears up, but nothing seems to be hitting the spot this time.
Any ideas what's going on? Also what do you listen to when you get like this?
Listening to this album makes me feel worthless as an ant who can never become anything and makes me angry at the world because I live in it and makes me think of all my exes at once. It also makes me feel very nihilistic in a sense, and all of that sadness becomes rage, but in a good(?) way. I like this album a lot.

That's exactly how I feel about it too
Not quite hitting the spot today for some reason. Maybe listening to too much AJJ is my problem.

you sound unfulfilled and frustrated

DIE
Sounds like anxiety friend
The front bottoms and disemberment plan do it for me. They take me back the better days of being a free spirit in high school. Nothing like going to school, smoking with friends, working part time and skating in a beach town

I wouldn't be surprised if you've already heard it but since you posted an AJJ record, have you heard Can't Maintain?
It's the LP they released after the one you posted but it has an incredibly well crafted narrative. It's the only AJJ album where by the end it really feels like the singer has grown in a huge way and lyrically/emotionally it may be up your alley considering how you're feeling.

This rec >>75160454 can be towards you as well. Can't Maintain sorta takes the nihlistic attitude of people who can eat people and then actually matures past it and deals with it.

listen to something like this OP, a completely detached piece free for interpretation. It fairs well against nauseating anxiety within, and the external finitude
When I ever got upset I would listen to Blues even though I had always listened to it helped me when I was upset or sad especially when my grandpa died.
I recommand you post-rock.
It always makes me feeling better
Being a tasteless numale with some useless art degree sometimes does that
Have you tried not being a pussy dude
I relish on the telling-off and insight from Mr. Bennett when in these kinds of moods

If you're angry, and like AJJ, check out Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains' side of the split album "Love Songs For The Apocalypse."
Listen to some good ole' beach boys. Wouldn't it be nice always puts me in a better mood

Any pat the bunny related projects are guaranteed to make you feel like shit, so definitely a recc

I also suggest that you just start doing new things to fill your time and prevent your mind from wandering into dark spots. Take up a new hobby like an instrument, read a book (audiobooks are also good especially if you don't like reading very much), go to a pet store and buy a pet rat to torture to death with fire, or learn to cook
Feel better dawg
