Lmao. I just recced the dude a variety of composition focused jazz as that's what TBSATSL is. Parker's great, but is almost only focused on improv and doesn't have the surface depth to keep a new listener's attention. Also most of his recordings have a pretty muddy quality that new guys gotta get used to as well.
