Well? You don't actually have an answer? Deloused is in an entirely different tier than their other works, Frances the Mute is the only one that comes close. Their other albums aren't bad, but they never reach these heights.

Deloused sounds too much like they're trying to become established and they're clearly holding back
Frances is the band in full swing, fleshing out complete ideas and concepts
While Deloused is heavily influenced by their post hardcore work, Frances has much stronger roots in progressive rock, as well as classical spanish styles
Deloused is the silver to Frances's platinum

>clearly holding back
I have the complete opposite opinion, it's their most unhinged in my mind with nothing being held back. Then again, I'm a huge ATDI fan so maybe I do like the more abrasive noise coming from Deloused. I just think it's what sets them apart from other prog groups, Frances might be them getting more into the traditional prog sound but Deloused is still a prog album even if it doesn't adhere to all traditional prog concepts.

I can see where you're coming from here honestly. Deloused has a very unique sound to it, but it's still fairly accessible
For me, the biggest separator is how much more talent there is on Frances. Cedric and Omar created a lineup/album that showcases every end of their abilities, right down to the mixing
The downside is that Frances is just bloated and excessive, plain and simple
Deloused is a more concise and straight to the point record
