>Gonna be a white minority
>We don't believe there's a possibility
>Well you just wait and see
>We're gonna be white minority
What did Black Flag mean by this?
>>75108086
It was meant to be ironic, having a go at racist fears but like all good satire, it eventually turned into reality.

Concise
Isn't it ironic that this song was sung by a Puerto Rican?
>>75108086
it basically means conservative is the new punk rock!
>>75109614
I don't think so.

I know that Henry and Ian from Minor Threat both grew up in D.C. They both talked about being bullied for being white at their inner city schools even though they weren't racists.
>>75109746
Henry wasn't in the band at the time though, nor do I know if he'd even met them yet.
That's not to say it isn't very obviously not intended as genuinely racist.

He could have been talking about his past, but L.A. is also full of Minorities. Besides something isn't racist just because it is a fact. The song isn't calling for a race war. It is just saying how the change of times has effected them.
>that face when you're concerned about white birth rates but will never fuck
