idk i just think all of HH's works are really good and he is the most standout of the other members.

I can’t pick between them, they all have great solo albums and all contributed pretty much equally to the band. They all produced lots of great albums for others but Hosono did the best stuff I think.

Wish Hosono would go back to electronic though in his solo stuff. Or better yet YMO make a new album, we had some new singles and an album seemed to be in the works then nothing, they even stopped playing at Takahashi’s World Happiness festival which is a shame. Don’t know what happened, it’s not like they’ve fallen out or anything, they all still meet regularly.

So glad Takahashi formed Metafive, It’s the closest we’re going to get to new YMO material.
