Why is this album better than anything Tool or Puscifer has put out? The lyrics are more poetic and seem to draw on mythology, Biblical themes, and it has more of a romantic feel. I thought I heard mandolins and exotic instruments featured as well. ‘Orestes’, ‘Magdalena’, and ‘Rose’ are stand-out tracks imo.

i've always preferred a perfect circle over tool. i think that tool are more interesting thematically, but i feel like APC cohere better. i kind of wish that maynard would've spent more time on that project.

i hate puscifer btw, shit is a waste of time and talent.
