This album could and should have been amazing. There are some Eyehategod, Crowbar, Down, and Pantera influences all over it. But sadly the nu metal overpowered those.

I really really like the mix on the album but most of the songs are way too long and repetitive. Cut it down to like 8 tracks and make them all half as long and it'd be a masterpiece.

It's certainly better than the last three.

I like HTSD but it's pretty middle of the road, it doesn't push any boundaries, it's not something I love

I listen to it sometimes but it's basically like they've now entered the "let's release middle-of-the-road stuff so we can keep cashing in on our name" phase of their careers
