>Dream is to be a musician
>I hate my voice every time I sing
>Listen to plenty of people who "can't sing"
>Still can't get the confidence to record

part of the reason you hate the sound of your recorded voice is because you're hearing how it sounds to other people, without the bass frequencies that you usually hear when you speak through bone conduction. it sounds alien to you, but everyone else will find your singing voice normal (unless it's actually exceptionally bad for some reason)
also, what helps me is doing a few takes whispering and talking before building up to actually singing

Record yourself and see how it sounds as a finished product. If your vocals blow find someone else to sing. This isn't rocket surgery.
It doesn't matter how it sounds to you, it matters how it is received. This is what Soundcloud is for. Go to one of those threads and get feedback.
