There's not that much reverb on Loveless. Most of the textural density comes from layers of distorted guitars.
The album employs pop melodies, but calling it pop-punk is naive. The songs are structured with more repetition and subtle variation for a hypnotic effect that pulls it far away from the agro-teen vibes of pop-punk. It's not even aggressive enough to be punk (even though it draws from the stylistic progression of punk).
