This is nu-metal right?
Not looking for people to weigh in on the quality or how they feel about the album or genre in general, I personally think it's one of DGs best works.
But it's nu-metal from what I can tell.

No, it's experimental punk.
Nu metal needs to have elements of metal, alternative, funk, rap and grunge into it. Also has repetitive riffs and usually lack guitar solos. And it's typically structured like a pop song.
