okay this is probably going to sound stupid but I have an issue with ableton and my midi controller. How do I 'pick' which instrument to play? Most of the time it's stuck with one column (idk what they're called) until I make a new one (one for samples or soft synths) and stuck on that one. For example, I have soft synth A up, my drum samples and just got soft synth B up. But my midi won't play anything from soft synth B, despite getting the midi commands

Any help here? I've had this issue for a while, I usually just close and open again but I really want to sort this out now
