Let's talk about The Cure. What's your favorite album by them?

Disintegration is kino af.
The Head on the Door is amazing
So melancholic
hardcore fan here:
Faith is my fav
Disintegration is their magum opus
Pornography is another top tier if you are in the mood
Seventeen Seconds
>>74978743
porno
Disintegration I still listen to obsessively, but Pornography is fantastic as well
Pop music for people who think they are too edgy for the other pop music.
Disintegration

You are underage but that's literally 80% of /mu/core.
had only listened to disintegration until like yesterday when I decided to listen to
boys dont cry
17 secs
faith
porno
the head on the door
kiss me
and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised
I have never really enjoyed disintegration that much, but 17 seconds was really nice on the ears
>>74979215
saying that is being edgy, so please come back when you grow up
>>74979215
This type of criticism from (always Marxist types of) critics is so lame and off base, take your resentment politics back to r*ddit
Disintegration but I think Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me is underrated as fuck
Disintegration is the best, but tracks from Wish seem to get stuck in my head most often.

Thursday doesn't even start

"Kiss Me..." and "Bloodflowers" are personal favorites on account of some really strong, but criminally underappreciated, songs on both albums.
I still need to give "Disintegration" a proper listen, but "Pornography" and "Three Imaginary Boys" are great.

It's Friday I'm in love
Great one, but actually Doing the Unstuck is the one that ends up there most of the time somehow
>>74979847
kind of funny considering the title
>>74979261
Not him, but I like The Cure and I'm a Marxist. What does Marxism have to do with music taste?
>>74979868
It's the sort of irony that suits my life
>>74978743
Disintegration > The Head on the Door > Pornography > Faith > Seventeen Seconds > Greatest Hits > everything else
Is it bad that I like Wish? I know it is poppy but cmon soooo many good songs
>>74981569
Not at all, I always appreciated the fact they stayed enjoyable after they lost their goth edge from their early stuff. I mean their early stuff is still their best, but they never really went drastically downhill. They just shifted their tone a fair bit.
I hate the music video for Friday I'm In Love though.
>>74981618
Boys don't cry and 3IB early or lipstick early?
>>74981650
Pre-Disintegration early. Their tone shifted considerably after that album.
>>74978743
Let's talk about that hair.
>>74981734
I wouldn't have it any other way.
>>74981700
yeah but they had a raw punk-ish phase too and I don't know if it was included
>>74978743
Despacito
