Anybody have these? Thinking about getting them and I'd

save up and get HD-25s anon. the extra money for senheisers is well worth it. excellent dynamic range, super comfortable, they have superior soldering, 2 year warranty (because they know its that good) and if they do break after that time period, all the parts are replaceable so you don't have to just throw them out.

My SR60 are 6 years old and still working. Maybe not the most comfortable headphones ever but the sound is great. I also have Sennheiser HD 598 Special Edition and Sennheiser Momentum and they are more confortable but the sound is nearly as good (too muddy).

Yes, I have a pair of the original 80's without the "e", I've taken care of them and they last just fine. Tbph the sound is slightly hotter than a flat hphone,with a slightly more pronounced bass and top end, but they are extremely clear/accurate and respond to eq very well if you like to make adjustments to your personal tastes. They are worth the $100.

ATH-M40x are probably the best thing you can buy in this price range. They are (imo) actually better than 50x, which are overhyped as fuck. Just found them on amazon for 99$.
