You just think of the music and it uploads to your computer; no need for instruments or digital studio software other than to make tweaks on Audacity.

just keep in mind that nothing currently exists to easily / reliably / effectively "upload" someone's thoughts into a computer. I don't think you know very much about neuroscience nor computer science. keep practicing the guitar big fella! :^)

You can play multiple instruments simultaneously in your head; you'll need software and/or a band to play multiple instruments at once.

If it's possible to create a device that can convert your thoughts into digital sound, you wouldn't need production software, band, or instruments.
