a good bet for a reasonably cheap* turntable is the audiotechnica at-lp 120, if you treat it right it can be the only turntable youll ever need. the at-lp 60 is okay, but the 120 is more solid.

buy whatever records you want, check out thrift shops for cheap ones. some antique shops carry decent collections, i only go to record stores on a rare occasions because theyre usually more expensive and always represses.
