Why is UK punk so much better than American punk?
Yank here, and i think that punk bands from the UK are far better than the ones we have here. American punk bands often seem douchey and immature, while the Brits make being douchey and immature look pretty cool. Maybe it's just that they cover social issues from their country that i can't relate to, so i care less about it and enjoy the music more. Idk.
Which do you prefer?

Ramones, Dead Kennedys, Misfits and Descents are american, punk was innovated in many ways in the US while it stayed in the same formula over the years in the UK
