i'm just saying. a lot of people say they don't like a certain genre but that closes their mind off to a lot of music they could potentially enjoy
>>74872447
damn i agree, how do i subscribe to this blog?
>>74872447
well for one thing "genre" is overused...people are always taking claim for genres when it's just diffrent styles...

Unusual way to approach jazz.
I've listened to 50+ hip hop albums in full multiple times, most of them were what the hip hop experts considered classics and I thought that all of them were forgettable and a chore to listen to.
I think i'm safe in not liking hip hop but I respect those who do get something out of it.
I mean, am I really a pleb for not wanting to spend a further hundred or so hours looking for something I'd like? Sure I found some horrorcore songs to be tolerable, but nothing else and even they got old quickly.

It's a singles genre, most albums aren't worth the time.

You're not even trying.

He's still right though, pleb.

The thing is, its not about being a pleb or a patrician, its about getting as much enjoyment out of music as possible. If you actually give a genre a chance, without getting much enjoyment out of it, then u problary shuld just move on to something else.
>i don't like *gender*
anyone who completely excludes any gender is a pleb. i didn't like trannies until i discovered john zorn, for intance.
